ITU is a leading university in research as well as in transforming research discoveries into products and providing the necessary circumstances for the production processes.

ITU has considerable experience relating to electromagnetics design, power electronic systems and electrical engineering with the relevant technical and laboratory facilities to support this expertise. ITU has also successfully delivered several large powder electronic systems.

ITU thus leads the project tasks related to modelling and validation of the generator design, integration of the rotor and generation system, as well as simulated field trials of the MAGNETIDE system in a grid formation.
